After working on my essay during the weekend, I noticed that I needed to make some global changes to my technology essay. My first global change was becoming aware that I needed to incorporate more than one author into my body paragraphs, I believe that is partially where I struggled on our last essay. Therefore, in my body paragraphs, I put more than one author in them so I can relate the articles back to back instead of separating them. For example, I used a quote from Ritchel and connected it to a quote by Twenge to add strength to the argument that I am trying to make. My next global change was adding in more quotes to my body paragraphs so I can give them more depth. I realized that putting in just the right amount of quotes adds a lot of strength to your paper because it shows more of a correlation to your the personal aspects that you are trying to incorporate into your paper. For example, when I decided to connect the two authors that I mentioned above, I quoted both of them instead of somewhat summarizing them. I noticed they reflected well off of each other and gave strength to that paragraph, and where I incorporated more quotes in my essay overall, I believe it made the essay stronger as well.
